ACS RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire
By hiring with ACS Rental, you confirm you are over 18 years old. You and all wearers must have read and agreed to these terms and conditions and consent to our use of data.
1. WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE
HIRE OF GARMENTS
We will hire to you the garments detailed on your order confirmation, subject to size availability. Please note that it is not possible to carry out alterations to hired garments as you might expect if purchasing them.
All garments are quality checked and processed after each hire to ensure they meet high standards and are free from defects. Due to dry-cleaning, slight shading differences may occur, especially for large wedding parties.
Please Note: Shirts may require ironing before wear, due to movement in transit.
We reserve the right to substitute to the nearest half size as follows:
Jacket size: ±2 inches
Jacket length: ±1 inch
Trouser length: ±1 inch
Trouser waist: ±2 inches
Top hat size: ±1/8
Shoes: ±1/2 size
Shirt collar: ±1/2 inch
2. WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
BOOKING
It is your responsibility to check that all the details of your order (e.g., function date, garments, sizes) are correct.
SIZING YOUR OUTFITS
You must try on all garments on the day of delivery to ensure they fit. If the fit is unsatisfactory, you must report this to us immediately, or no later than 12 noon the day following delivery. Please call us on 08085001314 to report any issues. All changes are subject to availability.
Failure to report sizing issues within this timeframe may result in us being unable to deliver replacement items in time for your function. We are not liable for any costs, expenses, losses, or damages arising from your failure to comply.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER
To cancel an order, please email customerservices@acsrental.co.uk.
Full refunds are available for cancellations made within 14 days of the order date.
No refunds are available for cancellations made within 14 days of the delivery date.
If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
We reserve the right to cancel an order before delivery in certain circumstance
3. DELIVERY OF GARMENTS
Garments will only be delivered to UK Mainland addresses.
Deliveries are made by DPD Monday to Friday.
Any delivery time or date provided is an estimate only. If delivery is delayed for reasons beyond our control, we are not liable.
You must try on all garments on the day of delivery.
It is your responsibility to make sure you are available when the outfits are due to be delivered. If you are not available, you will have options to pre-arrange this with the courier. If you choose to leave it in a safe place, you are responsible for this decision if any theft/loss may occur.
4. EXTENDED HIRE
Hire orders may be extended if pre-arranged and with stock availability. Please contact customerservices@acsrental.co.uk if you wish to extend the hire.
5. LATE ORDERS
Late orders are those placed within 15 days of the function date. Acceptance of late orders is at our discretion. While we will attempt to fulfil such orders, we cannot guarantee timely delivery, and additional carriage charges may apply.
6. RETURN OF GARMENTS
You are responsible for returning all hired garments in an undamaged condition.
Outfits must be returned on the specified date using the suit bag and box provided.
Attach the DPD returns label supplied to the box, reseal it, and drop it off at a DPD Pickup Shop. Locate your nearest shop here.
Failure to return garments may result in us pursuing both the garments' return and any additional charges.
7. LATE, MISSING, AND DAMAGED GOODS
Rental charges are outlined on our website. You must provide valid credit or debit card details when placing your order.
If garments are not returned or are damaged beyond repair, the following charges apply:
Tailcoat - £300
Short Jacket - £250
Trousers - £85
Waistcoat - £70
Shirts - £25
Top Hat - £130
Shoes - £60
Ruche - £22
Tie - £15
Hankie - £8
Cufflinks - £5
Hat Box - £20
Suit Bag - £10
Late Returns: Each order has a specific return date based on your rental period and your order must be returned before or on this date, if not the following charges will be applied:
Late Return Period - Late Return Charge
1 – 5 days after your return date - £10 per day
6 Day and thereafter - Full replacement cost
8. CARE OF GARMENTS
It is your responsibility to treat all garments with reasonable care.
9. STRESS LESS WAIVER
The Stress Less Fee covers accidental damage to garments, provided they were used appropriately. It does not cover:
Loss or theft of garments
Damage due to inappropriate or malicious use
Top hats are not covered by this waiver. Personal insurance policies do not cover our garments.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We are not liable for:
Loss of profits
Indirect or consequential losses
Our maximum liability is limited to the full hire cost of the order in question.
We reserve the right to assign any outstanding charges to ACS Rental or a third party. By placing an order, you agree that we may share your personal and payment details for the purpose of processing these charges
